This Privacy Policy explains what information Meet My Cleaner ("we," "us," "our") collects through the Meet My Cleaner app (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information: name/business name, phone number, email address, and a securely hashed password.
Location: service zone and address information used for scheduling, mapping, and arrival windows.
Payment information: card and bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe — we do not store full card or bank account numbers on our servers.
Messages: messages you send through in-app chat with a Cleaner or Customer.
Device information: a push-notification token (APNs or FCM) if you enable notifications.
Usage information: booking history, app activity, and similar records needed to operate the Service.

2. How we use your information

To create and secure your account, including sending one-time verification codes by SMS text message and/or email
To operate bookings, scheduling, messaging, invoicing, and payments
To send transactional notifications (push, email, or SMS) about your bookings, messages, and payments
To provide customer support and enforce these policies
To comply with legal and tax-reporting obligations (for example, generating a 1099-K for eligible Cleaners)

3. Text messages

If you provide a phone number, we use it to send one-time verification codes by SMS. These are transactional messages only — we do not send marketing texts, and your mobile number and consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Message and data rates may apply.

4. How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the Service, and only as needed for them to perform that function:

Stripe — payment processing, bank transfers, and tax-form delivery
Twilio — SMS delivery
Resend — transactional email delivery
Apple (APNs) and Google/Firebase (FCM) — push notification delivery
Google Maps — map rendering and address/zone lookup
Amazon Web Services — hosting our servers and database

We do not sell your personal information. Cleaners and Customers see the information about each other that's necessary to complete a booking (such as name, address, and messages).

5. Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We retain certain records — such as completed transactions and tax-related records — for as long as required by law or legitimate business/accounting purposes, even after account deletion.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, restricted database access) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Your choices

You can update your account information, disable push notifications in your device settings, and delete your account at any time from within the app.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
